Teenage Hadebe returned to action on Tuesday afternoon in Yeni Malatyaspor’s 3-1 victory over Keciorengucu in the first leg of the fifth-round Turkish Cup tie.
The defender missed his side’s two previous games after he got stuck in Zimbabwe due to passport issues. He had travelled to play in the Warriors’ Afcon qualifiers during the November international break, but his travel document ran out of pages and needed to get a new one.
The process took longer than expected, and ZIFA had to intervene after getting pressure from the Turkish club.
Hadebe who took park in his first training on Sunday after returning to his base played the entire minutes of the cup game.
He is expected to retain his place in the first XI when they face log leaders Sivasspor this weekend.
