Chicken Inn captain Danny Phiri says he is not scared of the attacking trio of Sundowns CBD.
The ‘CBD’ represents Sundowns’ attacking trio of Leonardo Castro, Khama Billiat and Keagan Dolly.
The three have formed a deadly attacking combination that has terrorised defenders in the ABSA Premiership.
However missing the services of Khama Billiat Sundowns proved to be impotent in front of goals as they failed to breach the unyielding Sundowns defence abd ultimately succumbing to a 1 nil defeat.
Billiat will most likely feature in the second leg slated for Saturday evining but that seem not to scare Chicken Inn captain Danny Phiri who feels they have a solution to stop the entire team not just the three.
“We’ve done our best and did all necessary preparations and what lies ahead of us is the pitch that we have to work on for 90 minutes and finish off the task. We’re not scared of their CBD because we prepared a game plan around the whole team, not just the three. We beat them at home and can still do the same on Saturday,” said Phiri.
Chicken Inn need at least any draw to proceed to the next round where AC Leopards of Congo Brazzaville is already waiting.
The match is set for Lucas Masterpieces Moripe Stadium in Pretoria on Saturday night.
