Warriors coach Joey ‘Mafero’ Antipas insists thats Knowledge Musona is still a very importaint figure in the squad despite not having game time at his Belgian side Anderlecht.

Musona has not even made the match day squad for Anderlecht this season as reports of the club’s plan to loan him filtered last week but Antipas says the 29-year-old still has a pivotal role to play in the team despite that.

“Just his presence is good enough. When Knowledge is here, you know he gives you 100 percent effort,” Antipas told The Sunday Mail.

“Musona is needed for the Warriors and I don’t doubt his ability because he is a true champion. I know he had some injury woes but he is now fit and raring to go,” he added.

The Warriors play Botswana and Zambia in the AFCON 2021 Group H qualifiers this month and Musona is part of the 32-member provisional squad announced by Antipas.
