Madinda Ndlovu is recovering well and is expected to be discharged from a Botswana hospital today, according to Gaborone United chairman Boitumelo Nsunge.
The Zimbabwean gaffer collapsed while conducting a training session at the Botswana Premier League club last month, and suffered a stroke due to a blood clot.
In an interview with The Chronicle Nsunge also confirmed Madinda was now able to speak.
“He is now trying to walk but can now speak fluently. He is set to be discharged from the hospital tomorrow (today),” said the chairman.
Meanwhile, Madinda will not return to the bench anytime soon, and his club has since appointed a new coach to guide the team until the end of the season.
