Zimbabwe’s senior women side has progressed to the semifinals of the 2019 COSAFA Women’s Championship after finishing on top of Group C with nine points.
The Mighty Warriors beat Eswatini 7-0 in their final group game to set up a clash with old foes South Africa on Thursday.
The Sithethelelwe Sibanda-coached team got their goals from Emmaculate Msipa, Mavis Chirandu and Rudo Neshamba.
Msipa netted twice in the opening ten minutes before Neshamba extended the lead on minute 25. Chirandu made it four on the half-hour and Msipa rounded up her hat-trick on the stroke of half-time.
Msipa and Chirandu were on target again in the second half to seal the victory.
