FC Platinum will no longer use Mandava Stadium for their CAF Champions League encounter against Esperance on Saturday.
The Zimbabwe champions had received a green light to use the stadium in their last Group B game after CAF approved the venue last month. Mandava was initially deemed unfit to hold matches from the group phase of the competition.
But the approval has since been reversed, and they are heading back to Bulawayo to host the North Africans. The move is due to concerns over the accommodation facilities in the mining town of Zvishavane.
FC Platinum played the other two home games at Barbourfields Stadium, where they drew 0-0 against Orlando Pirates before losing 1-0 to Horoya. They are sitting on the bottom of the pool with just two points.
