Lloyd Chigowe is satisfied with his new look Dynamos squad and believes the team will be competitive in the coming 2019 season.
The coach brought in several new faces after a host of players from the previous campaign left the club. Among the recent arrivals is striker Edward Sadomba who is returning to the club after a decade away.
There has also been a flock of foreigners, particularly from West Africa, who have been trying their luck. At least four have been shortlisted.
“We have assembled a team of fighters, and it’s now for us to make meaningful technical input to make them a cohesive outfit,” Chigowe told NewsDay.
“It’s up to us to have a correct shape, to be sober enough to see the guys who can make a difference within the class of what we have assembled.”
Chigowe, however, recently expressed disappointment after Archford Gutu refused to sign a contract with the Harare giants. The gaffer had looked up to rebuild the squad around the experience of the player, but the hopes faded away after they failed to reach a common ground on contract signing.
