Michelle Katsvairo is set to join top Kenyan side AFC Leopards after impressing during a trial match on Wednesday.
Katsvairo who has failed to tie down a place at any team since joining Kaizer Chiefs in 2016, impressed new Leopards coach Nikola Kavazovic who is aiming at rebuilding the side in the upcoming season.
“Today we had a foreign striker (Michelle Katsvairo) on trials. He played for 90 minutes, and I think we are satisfied. He will get the contract,” AFC Leopards coach Kavazovic said after the match.
Katsvairo was released by Kaizer Chiefs early this year after failing to impress on loan at Sindida FC in Tanzania. He tried his luck at Botswana side Township Rollers.
The forward was then snatched by Caps United during the second half of the season but again failed to make an impact.
