Mark Harrison has emerged as a surprise target of Ngezi Platinum Stars who recently sacked their coach Tonderayi Ndiraya.
Kalisto Pasuwa was heavily linked with a move to replace Ndiraya, but the former Warriors coach is said to have turned down the offer leaving Ngezi Platinum to cast their net elsewhere.
A source at the club revealed that to Soccer24.
“The initial target was Kalisto Pasuwa, and the negotiations were going on with his manager, but the coach seems to be angling for a return to Dynamos. So the team is now pushing for Mark Harrison. The problem is that the executive is not really united because some wanted Ndiraya to stay while others wanted Pasuwa and another faction wanting Madinda Ndlovu, ” said the source.
Clifton ‘ Somalia’ Kadurira has been appointed interim coach until a substantive coach has been found. Ngezi Platinum are five points behind log leaders FC Platinum with five games left before the end of the season.
