Zimbabwean international Kuda Mahachi was on the score sheet as Golden Arrows beat Free State Stars 3-1 in the ABSA Premiership yesterday.
Mahachi struck three minutes from full-time to give Arrows their first away win agains Free State Stars in 11 games.
Earlier Namibian winger Deon Hotto opened the scoring for Golden Arrows in the 40th minute then Gladwin Shitolo doubled the lead after the half-time break.
The goal continued Mahachi’s progress at Golden Arrows after his move from Sundowns where he was not seeing much game time and was done the pecking order.
The win puts Golden Arrows in 6th spot on the ABSA Premiership standings after 12 games. Meanwhile the eagerly anticipated clash between Sundowns and Kaizer Chiefs ended in a disappointing goalless draw.
The result saw Sundowns remain on top but only separated by goal difference with Mpumalanga Black Aces.
