Warriors head coach Callisto Pasuwa is set to receive a car courtesy of businessman Wicknell Chivayo.
The news was revealed by ZIFA president Philip Chiyangwa who held a luncheon for the Warriors squad at Crowne Plaza hotel today ahead of their departure for the CHAN 2016 tournament on Sunday.
Chivayo recently unveiled a USD $1 million sponsorship deal for ZIFA and has already paid part of the debt owed to former head coach Tom Saintfeit.
The function which had Chiyangwa as MC saw Minister of Sports and Recreation Makhosini Hlongwane and other dignitaries in attendance.
Chiyangwa said he wanted Pasuwa and his squad to be motivated and encouraged them to make the nation proud at CHAN 2016 . Pasuwa will be getting a twin cab.
Chiyangwa also reiterated his desire to change ZIFA for good saying he was no longer the “King of Selfies but rather the “King of Football” and the game would move in the right direction under his presidency.
