Kaizer Chiefs have offered an injury update on Khama Billiat.

Billiat suffered knock after a collision with an opponent during the Mpumalanga Cultural Xperience Cup defeat to Cape Town City on Saturday. The forward had to be replaced in the second half.

Teammate Siphiwe Tshabalala was also injured and limped off in the first half.

In an interview with The Citizen, club media officer Vina Maphosa said the injuries are not serious.

“They are not serious… but we will update you about everything when we announce our season plans next week including injury updates,” said Maphosa.

Chiefs will play their first 2018/19 Premier Soccer League (PSL) opener against Mamelodi Sundowns this coming weekend.
