Harare City have confirmed the signings of Ronald Chitiyo and Raphael Manuvire. Both players join Harare City on one year deals after their contracts with Dynamos and ZPC Kariba had expired.
The players representative Farai Mushaninga confirmed the signings yesterday, ‘I can confirm the players have signed the papers. They did their medical and everything was okay he told the Herald.
Chitiyo had rejected a new deal offered by Dynamos and instead opted for a lucrative deal with Harare City.
Manuvire had a fine season for ZPC Kariba finishing among the top goal scorers and making the Soccer Stars of the Year list.
Harare City are set to represent Zimbabwe in the CAF Confederations Cup and have already added Jimmy Tigere and Edwin Madhananga to strengthen the club.
Harare City have also indicated that their transfer business is almost done and will be registering their squad today. They have been drawn against Madagascar’s AS Dema with the first match set for the weekend of 13/14 February 2016.
