Warriors striker Tinotenda Kadewere says he enjoyed taking part in the just ended 2018 COSAFA Cup tournament.
The 22-year-old forward scored a brace which helped the national team beat Zambia 4-2 in the final to lift the cup for the 6th time.
Speaking to The Herald, Kadewere who plays for Djurgarden IF in Sweden said: “Personally, I enjoyed the tournament. I think this was a great experience for us all.
“It’s always good to have moments like these as a team and for the coaches to see different combinations and how the players can gel, especially with the AFCON qualifiers, coming up next.”
The former Harare City player also described his second goal on the day as a turning point.
“The equaliser was fantastic, it brought us back in the game, but I felt it was all because of a team effort. The guys showed great character, we need that spirit going forward,” said Kadewere.
