The Botswana player who injured Ovidy Karuru during the COSAFA Cup quarter-final encounter on Sunday has apologised for his action.
The Warriors skipper was stretchered off following a dangerous tackle by Edwin Mohutsiwa on the edge of the box in the 54th minute.
The 21-year old Mohutsiwa tweeted last night wishing Karuru a speedy recovery.
I know how it hurts being injured and I didn't do it intentionally. Above all we are all professionals. Get Well Soon Mate๐ญ๐๐ @OvyKays

Meanwhile, Zimbabwe went on to win the game 3-1 on penalties after it finished 1-1 at full-time. They will face Lesotho in the semi-finals on Wednesday, and Karuru will need to pass a late fitness to take part in that match.
