FC Platinum coach Norman Mapeza says they could have scored more goals in their match against Shabanie Mine on Saturday.
Pure Platinum Play cruised to a 4-0 victory with Rahman Kutsanzira, Mkokheli Dube, Farai Madhanhanga and Ali Sadiki finding the target while Winston Mhango was denied by the woodwork on the stroke of halftime.
“If we had applied ourselves more, maybe we could have scored more goals,” said Mapeza.
“But the most important thing is to collect maximum points. We have won by a big margin, and that is a bonus. Our focus is now on the next challenge, but we will not change the way we play.”
FC Platinum are now level on points with leaders Ngezi Platinum, only separated by goal difference. The two sides face against each other in Match-day 16 at Baobab Stadium.
