The fact that Highlanders are yet to be at their best under him, makes coach Madinda Ndlovu sleep peacefully, knowing that they can only improve from their good start.
The Bosso youngsters are yet to be an all-conquering team, with numerous holes in their game that Madinda is happy to be mending as the team grows with each game. But despite any shortcomings and the pressure from a growing fan following to move away from previous season’s disastrous campaigns, Highlanders have found a way to grind results and remain unbeaten in five matches.
The Bulawayo giants collected 13 points from their first five matches. They will look to continue with their impressive run, by getting maximum points against their arch-rivals Chicken Inn in the Bulawayo Derby at Babourfields Stadium on Sunday.
Despite Chicken Inn having a better record in the head to head clashes, Madinda Ndlovu has declared that he does not fear any team. Chicken Inn has won 8 games only losing twice against Bosso, while 6 have ended as draws.
“We fear no team in the Premier League because we are competing at the same level and it is only when we have not done our work properly or prepared properly that we lose a game. If we prepare well, we are ready for any battle with anybody in the league,’’ Ndlovu told the SundayNews.
