Khama Billiat’s agent Mike Ngobeni of M-Sport-Management has confirmed the player will leave Mamelodi Sundowns at the end of the season.
Billiat’s current deal with Sundowns will expire in June, and according to IOL, a South African news website, he has already made up his mind that he want to pursue his career abroad.
“Yes he is leaving Sundowns and he wants to grow his career abroad. He has won everything in South Africa and doesn’t have any problems with Sundowns,” Ngobeni said.
The agent also said Billiat is spoiled for choice with regards to his next destination, but hasn’t made the decision about his future.
“Khama has a lot of offers, my man. He has offers from Belgium, Saudi Arabia, China, US and Qarabag, in Azerbaijan. We have not signed a pre-contract with anyone and we don’t want to make rushed decisions. We want to take our time.
“Let’s give Khama an opportunity to finish on a high at Sundowns,” Ngobeni added.
The 27-year-old winger has been with Sundowns since 2013, and has won two league titles, the Nedbank Cup, Telkom Knockout, Caf Champions League and the Caf Super Cup trophies.
