Newly crowned Zimbabwe Soccer Star of the Year, Danny “Deco” Phiri has given gratitude to all the people who gave him support during the course of the 2015 season.

Phiri, who is the Chicken Inn captain, was crowned Zimbabwe’s King of Football last Friday night in a function where Dynamos defender Ocean Mushure was named as his first runner up.

Highlander’s free scoring striker Knox Mutizwa was named second runner up.

“Would to take this time to thank the almighty father for giving me this talent that I have….and t thank each and everyone of you who has been with me along this bumpy road to the top.

Thank you so much really appreciate everything,” posted Phiri on his Facebook wall.
