Shabanie Mine has appointed a new chairman after Elias Marufu stepped down.

Jimmy Mhloro is takes over from Marufu.

Club Secretary Jonathan Ruhukwa and vice chairman Joseph Zimuto also stepped down and will be replaced soon.

Here is a statement from the club.

According to the club constitution section 10. 2 following the expiry of terms of the aforementioned executive members the club chairman Mr Elias Marufu stepped down and handover the baton to Mr Jimmy Mhloro as the new Shabanie Mine FC chairman with immediate effect. Proper handover of club assets and liabilities was done at the club offices including brand new training kits and Adidas match balls for the players.Mr Jonathan Ruhukwa the club secretary-general and Mr Joseph Zimuto who was the vice chairman will be replaced with new members to be notified soon.
