Shabanie Mine captain Farai Mupasiri has joined rivals FC Platinum.

The Chinda Boys confirmed on Facebook, the departure of the striker.

Part of the statement read:

“Our captain Farai Mupasiri yesterday signed for FC Platinum as they bolster their squad to play in the CAF Champions League this month.”

Mupasiri becomes the latest player to leave the Zvishavane based side after defender William “Munhumutema” Mapfumo moved to Division One side Manica Diamond FC as a free agent. Bruno Mtigo, Tafadzwa Chimoyo and goalkeeper Alois Tangwara also left the club.

Meanwhile, Shabanie technical director Taku Shariwa has reportedly resigned following a fallout with the club’s leadership.
