CAPS United are set to sign Yadah winger Leeroy Mavunga as a direct replacement for Phineas Bamusi who left for Triangle.

The 2017 Castle Lager Premiership best rookie of the year is the latest target for the Harare Giants who are rebuilding their squad ahead of the new season.

Makepekepe released their provisional squad for the 2018 season yesterday which had new and returning faces. Much sought after striker Ishmael Wadi has moved from Bulawayo City and is expected to partner Brian Muzondiwa who was released by FC Platinum at the expiry of his contract last year.

Goalkeeper Munyaradzi Diya is also among the new players at the club with Simba Nhivi and former captain Method Mwanjali returning from short stints in Tanzania.

Oscar Machapa, a product of the club’s junior policy also makes a comeback after fleeing the Democratic Republic of Congo last year.
