The Premier Soccer League Disciplinary Committee has fined Ngezi Platinum Stars FC and Dynamos FC following match disturbances that occurred at a Castle Lager Premier Soccer League match featuring the two teams played at Baobab Stadium on Saturday 28 October 2017.
Ngezi Platinum Stars FC
Ngezi Platinum Stars FC were found guilty of contravening Order 31 of the Castle Lager Premier Soccer League Rules and Regulations which makes it an act of misconduct on the part of the Club where its supporters misbehave in any manner whatsoever, inside or outside a ground before, during or after a match, no matter on which ground the match is played.
Ngezi Platinum Stars were ordered to pay a fine of $2500-00 (Two thousand five hundred dollars), $500-00 (Five hundred dollars) of which has been suspended for the rest of the 2017 season on condition that the accused is not convicted of a similar offence. The effective fine of $2000-00 (two thousand dollars), together with the costs of the hearing, to be paid by 30 November 2017.
Dynamos FC
Dynamos FC were also found guilty of breaching Oder 31 of the PSL Rules and Regulations.
The club was fined a sum of $2500-00 (Two thousand five hundred dollars) of which $500-00 (Five hundred dollars) was suspended for the rest of the 2017 season on condition that the accused is not convicted of a similar offence. The effective fine of $2000-00 (Two thousand dollars), together with the costs of the hearing, is to be paid by 30 November 2017.
