Dynamos coach Lloyd Mutasa was content with his side managing only a point against ZPC Kariba at Nyamhunga as the title race hots up.
ZPC Kariba dominated the early stages of the match with Never Tigere putting them ahead but Denver Mukamba leveled the scoring before the breather.
“It is a point gained because we were up against a formidable team, coached by a great coach Sunday Chidzambwa. So it was always going to be difficult for us and also playing away from home, a point is still a very good result for us,” said Mutasa.
“I am really happy for the lads because they really worked hard for this result. We gifted them with a goal but we recovered and got an equaliser. The race is still open and like I said before, we are running our own race and not looking at other results.”
Despite Mutasa’s assertion, the result allowed Ngezi Platinum to close in on Dynamos reducing the points to just one. FC Platinum can also reduce the the gap should they win against Highlanders at Barbourfields stadium this afternoon.
