Kelvin Kaindu thinks his team will win the league only out of a miracle after his charges managed one win in their last four league encounters.
With now nine games left before the end of the season, How Mine are on 37 points fourteen shy of the leading pack of Chicken Inn and FC Platinum.
Chikurupati failed to keep the momentum after a comprehensive 3-1 victory over the table anchors Bantu Rovers . Prior to that victory, they were humiliated 0-6 by an on fire Dynamos in a rescheduled fixture played before the matchday 23.
The coach admitted that the chances of winning the league were slowly fading and it is difficult for them to come back.
“For us its slowly slipping away, we are 14 points away from the team which is at the top so its difficult for us to come back, we would need a miracle and honestly speaking miracles rarely happen in football”, said Kaindu.
However he said that the top four teams have a realistic chance of lifting the title although he refused to put his neck on the block.
“Its tight for every-one and I think its still open especially for the four top teams”, said the gaffer.
“Chicken Inn have been consistent while, FC Platinum have good players and good administration. Dynamos can’t be ruled out, they have a game in hand and they have three points which are pending from the Chapungu game. For Ngezi Platinum they are also picking up points so I think its still open for the top four.
Currently, Chicken Inn are perched at the summit with 51 points, separated on goal difference with FC Platinum who are second. Dynamos sits on third place with 49 points while Ngezi Platinum Stars follow on fourth.
