In the Castle Lager Premiership today the Harare derby between Dynamos and CAPS United in a thrilling 1-1 draw while there were win for Highlanders, Triangle and Tsholotsho.
Dynamos and CAPS United shared the spoils in a highly entertaining match. Substitute Takesure Chinyama gave Dynamos the lead but Leonard Tsipa equalised six minutes later.
Both teams could have won in the final minutes but only went so close. The draw means Dynamos failed to take advantage of Chicken Inn dropping points yesterday.
At Gibbo Stadium Triangle got back to winning ways with a 5-1 thrashing of relegation bound DOngo Sawmills. Tawanda Muyendi scored a hat-trick while Paca Manhanga and Praise Tonha got the other goals.
A Barbourfields Stadium Highlanders were wasteful before clinching an all-important late goal through Obadiah Tarumbwa to win 1-0 against Buffaloes.
The win moves Highlanders some distance from the relegation zone and into 9th place.
At the Colliery Tsholotsho gave themselves a big boost in their bid to avoid relegation when they beat Hwange 1-0.
Tsholotsho are in 12th place and three points above Buffaloes who occupy a relegation zone spot in 13th
