FC Platinum will return to their home ground, Mandava Stadium this weekend when facing Yadah.
The Zvishavane based side has used Maglas Stadium while Mandava stadium underwent renovations which included the laying of a new turf and the refurbishment of the drainage system.
However, the stadium is now ready for use and will host Castle Lager Premiership matches starting with Yadah’s visit.
“We are pleased that Mandava Stadium will host its first league match tomorrow when we take on Yadah. The renovations have been completed and we are excited about the developments,” said Chizondo.
FC Platinum stand in coach Lizwe Sweswe welcomed the return to their favourite hunting ground saying the Mandava turf suits his side’s type of play.
“It has been long overdue we would have wanted to play here since the first day of the season. I am happy that we are back home and we are happy with the turf as it suits our type of play,” said Sweswe.
FC Platinum will be looking to build on their midweek win over Chicken Inn while Yadah are desperate to avoid a fourth consecutive defeat of the season.
