A first-half goal from Qadr Amini helped Ngezi Platinum to 1-0 win over Harare City away from home in matchday 8 of the Castle Lager Premier Soccer League.

Ngezi were awarded a penalty in the 20th minute after Teguru was brought down by Tigere in the box. Amini stepped and made no mistake.

The win puts Ngezi back on top of the Premier Soccer League Standings.

Shabanie Mine played in a goalless draw with Chapungu in a poor game, were both teams failed to make much of an impact against a resolute Shabanie defence.

Hwange also played a goalless draw with visiting Tiangle at the Colliery.
