Dynamos gaffer Lloyd Mutasa says his side is targeting to progress to the finals of the Independence Cup final. Dembare were drawn against bitter rivals Caps United in the semifinals set for Sunday at the National Sports Stadium.
Both sides met at the same stage in the ZNA Charities which the Green Machine prevailed 3 – 1.
However Mutasa believes that Sunday’s match is a different ball game and his charges will atone for their defeat against their city neighbours.
”You know derby matches are always tough despite a team’s form but I am happy that the youngsters are slowly appreciating on what it means to play for Dynamos,” said Mutasa.
“When you play for Dynamos it is always painful to lose twice to Caps United and everyone in camp is looking for a positive result when we play them on Sunday,” added the Dembare coach.
The winner of the game on Sunday will play either Highlanders or FC Platinum who play on the same day at Barbourfields Stadium.
