Zimbabwean international Knowledge Musona scored as KV Oostende started the Belgium Championship play off’s with a 1-1 draw against Sporting Charleroi.

Musona put KV Oostende into the lead in the 53rd minute going on a run before sliding the ball past the keeper.

However Sporting Charleroi secured a equaliser 12 minutes from time to ensure the points were shared . The result sees KV Oostende second on the playoff table with a point two behind leaders Anderlecht. 

KV Oostende finished the regular season in the top 6 leading to qualification to the play off championship.

In the play off championship  each team starts with half of the points they won in the regular season. The first-placed team after the playoff then wins the championship of Belgium
