Swedish based Zimbabwean youngster Tinotenda Kadewere who plays for top flight league side Djurgadens IF has made a recovery after a lengthy lay off ahead of the start of the new season in the first week of April.
Kadewere has been out of the game since his return from Warriors’ AFCON finals in January but recovered just in time featuring for his club in a weekend friendly match against Tomso.
Djugardens managed to win 3-1 with Kadewere scoring a classjcal goal having gone past 3 defenders and the goalkeeper before calmly slotting into the back of an empty net.
Other goals came from Haruna Garba and Othman El Kabir.
Kadewere will this season be expected to play a leading role as the teams’s first choice striker Michael Olunga has moved in the Chinese Super League.
