Warriors head coach Callisto Pasuwa has expressed concern with their preparations ahead of the matches.
Zimbabwe’s preps suffered a set-back blow after the squad failed to leave for Guinea yesterday evening and may now only leave on Saturday and arrive in the evening a day ahead of the match.
ZIFA are yet to reveal the reason for the delay with reports suggesting there were complications in flights.
To make matters worse European based players such as Knowledge Musona, Costa Nhamoinesu, Marvelous Nakamba and Matthew Rusike are only expected to link up with the squad in Guinea so will have little or no time to train as a team.
Pasuwa was hoping to use the match to kick off preparations for AFCON 2017 but believes poor preps are becoming normal.
“I think we need to improve in the way we prepare ourselves said Pasuwa.Problems will come with the way we are travelling.
The match is on Sunday and will kick off at 19:00Hrs local time.
