Highlanders head coach Erol Akbay admits he is now desperate to get a win and does not care about his team playing good football anymore.
Highlanders are currently on a poor six match winless streak and take on Kelvin Kaindu’s How Mine this weekend needing nothing short of maximum points.
The Dutchman had a good start but losing key players during the transfer window seems to have hit the squad hard.
Speaking at the club’s weekly press conference Akbay said, “I don’t care what kind of football we play but for the next game we just want a win. This week our training was mainly touching on basics we are working on winning all our games from now on.
Technical Director Cosma Zulu also admitted that the technical team was concerned about their jobs and feared their future could be on the line if results do not come soon.
Highlanders are in 3rd place with 32 points from 20 games.
