Barcelona star player Lionel Messi has reportedly announced his retirement from international football following Argentina’s COPA America final loss to Chile.

Messi  missed a penalty as Argentina failed once again at international level for the second year running.

Messi is quoted by TyC Sports in Argentina  saying ‘I’m taking this decision for me and for the many people who want this. I’ve tried so hard, but I’m leaving without managing it. ‘The national team is over for me.’ Oh, Argentina added Messi .
