Zimbabwe Under 20 coach Jairos Tapera will be joining fellow Zimbabwean Joey Antipas in the South African National First Division after reportedly securing a 3 year contract with the club.
Though the details of the package of the deal is yet to be disclosed, his Swaziland based agent confirmed in an interview with the Chronicle that it is lucrative.
Tapera will however remain the Zimbabwe U20 coach for the Youth AFCON qualifier return leg away in Cameroon. He will still render services to the Zimbabwe team until a suitable replacement is found.
His immediate task at Black Leopards will be to help them gain promotion back in the premiership.
Black Leopards is not new to Zimbabwe as it was once coached by legendary Zimbabwean Coach Sunday Chidzambwa.
Tapera will become the second Zimbabwean coach in NFD after ZPSL title winning coach Joey Antipas joined Amazulu and has been trusted to lead them back into the Premiership.
Tapera has a vast of coaching experience and is well known for being the man that helped FC Platinum gain promotion to ZPSL back in 2010.
