TelOne FC edged CAPS United in a Castle Lager Premier Soccer League Matchday 4 encounter played at Ascot Stadium in Gweru on Saturday.
The WiFi Boys, who have only lost once this season, cruised to the victory courtesy of Washington Navaya’s solitary effort in the 51st minute.
The result put them on number three, at least for now, on the log, with seven points.
At Sakubva Stadium, Ronald Chitiyo scored a brace as Greenfuel beat Bikita Minerals 4-2.
Chitiyo, who returned to local league last month and scored his first goal for his new club in the previous round, netted both goals in the second half.
Emmanuel Chikwende and Godknows Mutina scored the other two goals for the Chisumbanje team.
Yadah thrashed Kwekwe United 3-0, thanks to goals from Evans Rusike and a brace from Francis Mustafa.
Rusike found the back of the net in the 39th minute, moments after Kwekwe coach Saul Chaminuka had received a red card.
Mustafa netted his first goal of the day on the stroke of half-time from the spot before wrapping it uo in the second half.
Elsewhere, FC Platinum and MWOS FC played a goalless at Mandava Stadium, while Chicken Inn lost 1-0 to ZPC Kariba at Nyamhunga Stadium.
