Former Warriors international Kaitano Tembo has backed Makwinji Soma-Phiri’s candidacy for ZIFA President,

Soma-Phiri is the only former player vying for the association’s top post.

The election is scheduled for 25 January 2025 at an Elective Congress.

Tembo, who is now coaching at Marumo Gallants in South Africa’s Betway Premiership, posted on X:

Soma-Phiri will be competing against Philemon Machana, Nqobile Magwizi, Martin Kweza, Twine Phiri and Marshall Gore.
