Dynamos have announced the departure of head coach Genesis Mangombe.
Mangombe has been underfire after an underwhelming season after attaining just 30 points in twenty-two games so far during the current Castle Lager Premier Soccer League championship.
The tally has left the Glamour Boys in 7th place on the log table, and 13 points behind log leaders Simba Bhora.
An emergency meeting was held on Monday night, and according to a statement by the club, Mangombe has left his position.
The gaffer tendered his resignation on Monday 5 of August.
A Statement from Dynamos read:
We wish to advise all our stakeholders that the club has gracefully accepted the resignation of Genesis Mangombe as head coach of Dynamos football club with immediate effect.
We want to thank Mr Mangombe for the services he rendered to the club and for all the achievements that the club attained during his tenure.
The club will announce a new coach to take over the reins on substantive basis, but in the meantime, Lloyd “Mablanyo” Chigowe will hold forth in the interim.
