Dynamos beat Ngezi Platinum Stars 2-0 to win the 2023 Chibuku Super Cup at Baobab Stadium on Sunday.

The Glamour Boys will represent the country in the CAF Confederation Cup next season, while Ngezi, who won the Castle Lager Premier Soccer League, will be playing in the Champions League.

Two late goals from Elton Chikona and Emmanuel Paga sealed the victory for the Harare giants.

Chikona opened the scoring in the 75th minute after pouncing on a rebound.

Paga killed the contest on the stroke of fulltime after Ngezi goalkeeper Chang Mariyoni made a handling error.

Meanwhile, this the first time for Dynamos to win the tournament since it was launched in 2014.
