Marvelous Nakamba is starting on the bench as Aston Villa face Brighton this afternoon in the English Premier League.

The Zimbabwean midfielder has only played thirteen minutes in the league this season. He is on the bench after featuring in back-to-back games for the Warriors during the just ended international break.

He played the entire two games against Algeria in the past week.

Nottingham Forest defender Tendayi Darikwa is not in the matchday squad to play Barnsley in the Championship. The right-back was also in action during the international break, starting in both encounters for the Warriors.

Notts County left-back Adam Chicksen is on the bench in the match versus Chesterfield in the English National League.
