As revealed by Soccer24, Mapeza agreed to return to Mandava just over a year after leaving.

“Coach Mapeza has a proven record of success with the club having won two PSL titles in adition to leading the CAF hampions League charge.
“Mapeza takes the team fully aware of the club’s vision which he has taken part in building and now seeks to attain in a fresh challenge, he comes in ready to go.”
The former Warriors coach was unattached to any side since his departure at South African team Chippa United in February. His move to TTM in September fell through on the eleventh hour after disagreements with the executive.
Meanwhile, Mapeza’s former assistant Lizwe Sweswe was also in the picture as the club was considering him as another option to replace De Jongh.
Sweswe left Mandava last month and has since joined Zifa Central Region Division One side Trukumb Mine.
