FC Platinum are reportedly interested in signing 2019 Soccer Star of the Year finalist Ralph Kawondera as the Zimbabwe champions seek to reinforce their squad in January to save their Champions League campaign.
Kawondera’s contract with Triangle United is set to expire at the end of this year, and the midfielder is yet to renew it.
According to NewsDay, the Platinum Boys want to seize that opportunity and sign him as a free agent. They have also identified some players whom they want to bring on board at the start of the year to fill the void left by some key stars who left the club in the mid-season.
FC Platinum find themselves bottom of Group B after losing their first two matches to Al Hilal of Sudan (1-2) and Saturday’s 0-3 home loss to Etoile du Sahel of Tunisia.
