There has been a change in the Chippa United technical team which is led by Norman Mapeza.

According to Soccer Laduma, goalkeeper’s coach Postnet Omony has been relieved of his duties.

The Ugandan took the post under former coach Clinton Larsen and also had another stint at the club during the 2017/18 season under Serbian coach Vladislav Heric.

Speaking to the news website, Omony thinks Mapeza was not comfortable working with him.

“It’s just been a verbal notification from the GM of the club. Apparently, the coach (Norman Mapeza) is… I don’t know. He’s not comfortable with my presence,” he said.

Chippa are scheduled to host Black Leopards at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium next Wednesday in their next match.
