Highlanders striker Prince Dube left the Warriors camp to attend his team’s league match against FC Platinum in Mandava.
The forward who came on as a late substitute in the goalless draw against Botswana on Friday evening supposedly left soon after the game to link up with his Bosso team-mates in Zvishavane.
Dube was named in the starting XI on Saturday afternoon for the league game and is set to return to Harare on time before the national team fly out to Lusaka on Sunday afternoon.
This unusual arrangement didn’t happen only to Dube but to coach Joey Antipas who is in Bulawayo for Chicken Inn’s game against Hwange.
The gaffer was also not available in the Warriors camp on Wednesday after attending another league match.
ZIFA and PSL have since been blasted for not observing the FIFA international break with both Antipas and Highlanders coach Hendrik Pieter de Jongh describing the decision to arrange league games this week as unprofessional.
