Warriors star Khama Billiat has re-emphasized the importance of having Knowledge Musona in the team ahead of tomorrow’s AFCON qualifier against Botswana at the National Sports Stadium.

Coach Joey ‘Mafero’ Antipas’ decision to include Musona in the Warriors fold despite him (Musona) not having neither game time nor match fitness had been met with mixed reactions, with some suggesting that its not the right call, but Billiat insists the Anderlecht striker still remains an important figure in the national team.

“We all know Knowledge is a great player, he has done it before, he has done it over and over again,’’ Biliiat told The Herald. 

“I have played with Knowledge before and I know what kind of a player he is. He is a player I connect with very well and he also connects well with the other players, which makes us a stronger team.

“We need him, he is a great player and I believe his presence will improve the team. He still has a lot to offer to this team,” added the Kaizer Chiefs star.
