The Zimbabwean duo of striker Knox Mutizwa and midfielder Danny ‘Deco’ Phiri scored in Golden Arrows’ 3-2 come from behind win over Mamelodi Sundowns at the Sugar Ray Xulu Stadium today.
Phiri restored parity for Arrows in the 61st minute after they had fallen behind in the first half through a Morena opener for Masandawana.
Mutizwa then scored a quick-fire brace in the 72nd and 81st minute from the penalty spot to complete the turn-around for Steve Komphela’s men.
Andile Jali’s 88th minute strike proved to be just a consolation as Sundowns go 10 points behind Kaizer Chiefs on the table.
