Warriors midfielder Thabani Kamusoko has warned his teammates about their AFCON 2021 Group H opponents Zambia, whom they face next week, saying the encounter will be a tough one.
Kamusoko will be in familiar territory when the Warriors travel to Zambia four days after meeting Botswana at the National Sports Stadium, since he turns out for ZESCO United in the Zambian Premier League.
“Both teams know each other very well and it will be a tightly-contested fixture,’’ the dreadlocked midfielder told The Herald.
“The National Heroes Stadium is ideal for this tie. Its turf is perfect, I once played there when we were participating in the CAF Champions League while I was still plying my trade in Tanzania,’’
“What I know is we have to be very careful against Chipolopolo for they have an array of good stars who can beat any team on this continent,” he said.
