Kaizer Chiefs star forward Khama Billiat is reportedly missing in Kaizer Chiefs’ match day sqaud for this evening’s clash with Chippa United due to a knock.
According South African publication Soccer Laduma, the Zimbabwe international did not even travel to Port Elizabeth for today’s clash with the Norman Mapeza-coached side after picking up a knock in the penalty shootout win over Orlando Pirates in the Telknom Knockout on Saturday.
The publication further alleges that the decision made by Chiefs to leave the 29-year-old behind is precautionary for the knock not to worsen.
Amakhosi host arch-rivals Pirates for the second time in seven days, this time in a league encounter at the FNB Stadium and Billiat’s fitness wil be a topical issue in the build-up to the game, as well as next week’s AFCON 2021 qualifier between Zimbabwe and Botswana at the National Sports Stadium.
