Kaizer Chiefs winger Khama Billiat insists he knows nothing about the reported fallout with coach Ernst Middendorp.
Rumors of a fallout started to swirl last season and the player was linked with an early exit at Chiefs in the pre-season.
Things took another nasty turn last month when the gaffer questioned Billiat’s decision to feature for the Warriors during his recovery from an injury.
Despite the fact that he got a clearance from the medical team, Middendorp berated the 29-year-old on the radio over the decision.
Speaking to Sowetan on Wednesday at the club chairman, Kaizer Motaung’s birthday party, Billiat dismissed speculation of a rocky relationship with Middendorp.
“I don’t know that. Like now‚ I was just greeting him now‚” he said.
“I don’t know where this is coming from. But I’m working with him every day. I’m fine.”
Last week ahead of the 4-2 victory against Mamelodi Sundowns in the Shell Helix Ultra Cup, the forward made the same sentiments, saying everything was solved in a professional way.
