Fans of Belgian outfit RSC Anderlecht have reportedly demand for the club hierachy to sack former Machester City captain Vincent Kompany.
Kompany surprised the football world at the end of last season when he announced that he would leave the Citizens to join Anderlecht as a player coach, a role which has hasnt really worked out considering the results at hand.
The Belgian side, who finished a respectable fourth last season, have only managed a paltry 6 points from 9 matches, a scenariro which has irked fans of the club resulting in a protest soon after the dull 0-0 draw with Waasland Beveren on Sunday.
Other fans took to Twitter to express their displeasure towards Kompany.
“Kompany seriously needs to be sacked.” posted one fan.
While another added: “They made poor choices following Kompany’s unrealistic ideas. In other circumstances Kompany would have been fired.”
Another disgruntled fan had this to say of the Belgian: “Kompany sacked by Christmas,” and: “Player management is never a good thing.”
